Our Chaga Turmeric Latte combines two of nature’s antioxidant rich powerhouses. Also known as the ‘diamond of the forest’, the chaga mushroom is one of our favourite fungi for its taste and many health benefits. Chaga comes from an old Russian word for mushroom, and has been a traditional medicine in Northern Europe and Russia for hundreds of years. It is traditionally renowned for increasing vitality and supporting the immune system, and also has anti-microbial, anti-retroviral, anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory properties. Chaga is one of the highest food sources of antioxidants and protective of the body against free radical damage, it is rich in antioxidants like powerful superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione.
Turmeric latte, or golden milk, has been traditionally consumed since ancient times for its healing properties. Like chaga, turmeric is a great natural anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants to protect and support the body.
