Matcha Cream Cordyceps Smoothie Recipe

We asked blogger Jenn Lee to create a series of recipes using our organic mushroom powders and capsules. This week it’s all about cooling down in the heatwave which is why we are loving this Matcha infused Cordyceps smoothie, perfect for hot summer days.

Cordyceps is great for stamina and endurance so it’s great for slow Monday mornings or as a pre-workout pick-me-up.

Ingredients

1 serving Mushrooms 4 Life organic cordyceps (~1 gram)

¼ teaspoon matcha

½ cup greek yogurt

1 tablespoon honey

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup coconut milk

1 banana (or alternative sweeteners of choice, e.g. 1 tablespoon of honey or a couple drops of stevia)

½ an avocado, ideally frozen

Cordyceps mushrooms

  1. Blend for 1-2 minutes on high. For a smoother consistency, add more liquid; for a thicker consistency, use less liquid.
  2. Enjoy!
