Our Myco-Zen complex is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles for enhancing the ‘Shen’ spirit, combining our highest quality Reishi spores with Lion’s Mane extract for maximum benefits. Reishi is known as the ‘Mushroom of Immortality’ and even the ‘Queen of Mushrooms’ due to its adaptogenic properties. It can be helpful in supporting fatigue and contains powerful immunological and anti-inflammatory triterpenes and polysaccharides. Reishi spores are the most nutrient-dense portion of the mushroom and are carefully cracked at low temperatures and rolled up to 30 times to extract all the active compounds. We use organic Reishi spores grown and collected in China—the traditional home of red Reishi—and grown on duanwood, their native food medium. This means our mushrooms have a similar nutrient profile to those grown naturally in the wild. To this we add Lion’s Mane mushroom, sometimes known as the ‘Mountain Priest’ and revered by ancient medicine for its cognitive and nerve benefits. We use a dual-extraction method to ensure a therapeutic dose of Lion’s Mane for defence against stress and to improve mental performance.
